Who We Are
De-Perspective Youth Empowerment and Legacy Foundation (De-YELF) is a registered non-profit organization in Nigeria, dedicated to building a literate, empowered, and environmentally conscious generation of young people. Founded on the belief that youth are catalysts for sustainable change, we provide platforms that promote education, vocational training, critical thinking, and civic engagement.
Our mission is to equip young people with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive in today’s world while becoming responsible leaders in their communities. Through innovative programs—ranging from sports initiatives like the DeYELF Cup, to literacy and creative thinking projects, to vocational and environmental leadership training—we empower youths to pursue personal growth and contribute meaningfully to national development.
We work across schools, universities, and communities, creating spaces for dialogue, mentorship, and action on pressing issues such as education, environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and drug abuse prevention. Our initiatives are designed to inspire lifelong learning, strengthen civic participation, and build resilience among young people.
At De-YELF, we believe in collaboration. By partnering with educators, institutions, government bodies, and international organizations, we amplify youth voices and support inclusive policies that enable community-led solutions to today’s challenges.
