These figures represent verified De-YELF reach and participation across our youth-development work as of October 2026. The 250+ secondary-school students are young people who were actively enrolled in secondary school at the time of the program. The 500+ community youths are young people reached through De-YELF activities who were not secondary-school students; the two figures therefore represent separate participant groups.

Through WordPlay and school-based engagement, De-YELF creates opportunities for young people to strengthen vocabulary, literacy, strategic thinking, confidence and problem-solving.

Through initiatives such as the De-YELF Cup, sport becomes a platform for teamwork, discipline, drug-abuse awareness and constructive youth engagement.
