About Us
Founded on the belief that youth are catalysts for sustainable change, DE-YELF creates platforms that foster education, vocational training, critical thinking, and civic engagement, empowering young people to play a vital role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As the founder of DE-YELF and a passionate sustainability advocate, I am driven by a vision to cultivate a literate, empowered, and environmentally conscious generation. My advocacy journey began early, rooted in my commitment as a member of The Boys’ Brigade Nigeria (7th Ife Coy), where I learned that continuous training for young minds is a powerful catalyst for both personal transformation and environmental change.
This belief fuels my dedication to equipping young people with the tools they need to become responsible and forward-thinking leaders in their communities. At DE-YELF, our work is focused on fostering leadership, promoting literacy, raising environmental awareness, and supporting sustainable social development. Through these efforts, we aim to empower youth to drive positive change and create lasting impact in their communities.

From the very beginning, our mission and vision have been clear. These mission and vision statements guide everything we do, whether it’s hosting literacy and creative thinking workshops, training young people in skills that prepare them for the future of work, or using sports and cultural programs to inspire teamwork, leadership, and awareness around social issues.
